Release Notes – 09/27/2023
New updates: Chrome extension improvements, Snapchat conversions deduplication, Event ID for Google
Hyros Chrome Extension Improvements
The View on Hyros button is now available in TikTok, Bing, Twitter and Pinterest ad managers.
This button assists in generating a report in Hyros, similar to the report you have in your ad account using the Chrome extension.
Snapchat Conversions Deduplication
The most recent release now includes the ability to deduplicate parameters used for Snapchat offline conversions.
This functionality closely resembles the process seen in other ad platforms, such as Facebook, for instance. Once activated, this setup will automatically retrieve the parameters from the script and transmit them to Snapchat. No further steps are required.
Offline Conversions Improvements for Facebook
A fundamental modification in the way conversions are handled and assigned on Facebook has been implemented, and it is expected to greatly enhance deduplication on the platform.
Event ID Parameters Visibility for Google
The most recent release now includes the ability to validate deduplication parameters for offline conversions. This enhancement proves particularly useful when conducting troubleshooting related to these events, and you can streamline the process by consulting the Transaction ID column below.
LinkedIn API Version Upgrade
Several upgrades have been launched for LinkedIn integration to align with the changes LinkedIn will be making in the coming weeks.
Since this update has been extensively rolled out to all users, there is no need for any additional actions.
Google API Version Upgrade
Just like the enhancements to LinkedIn updates, the integration of Google within Hyros has also been brought up to date with the latest changes to ensure optimal usability.
As this update has been widely deployed to all users, no further action is required.
Integrations Configuration Discrepancies Alert
We’ve introduced a new alert system that will inform users about any timezone disparities between their ad accounts and Hyros.
