This document is to provide step by step guidance on how to initially set up your HYROS account. After set up you may access training on advanced usage and strategies to improve ad ROI with Hyros under (https://app.hyros.com/#/mh/tt-easy-setup).

We suggest you get all these basic step completed and tracking confirmed by our team before moving to any other more advanced strategies with our platform. For example tracking your email, organic, social or activating AI pixel training should wait till this guide is complete AND your onboarding rep have confirmed your tracking accuracy!

To use this set up doc simple follow the steps below while selecting the systems you are using.

How HYROS Track The Source Of Your Sales (Optional But Good To Know)

When tracking a digital sales funnel HYROS tracking works by first identifying which ad or source a visitor came from. We will focus on ads in this set up doc.

 

When an ad on Facebook or Adwords is clicked it passes data to your landing page. Our WATCHER code then receives that data and creates a profile for the visitor based on 5 levels of tracking. The profile then has the ad click attached to it.

 

After the initial visit HYROS will watch visitors going to your checkout pages via the WATCHER script in the header of the checkout page. When a visitor lands that has matches from a profile seen before HYROS will recognize the user. If the user then checkouts out HYROS will ad the sale and sale amount to the user profile.

 

Because the full users ad and click history is already attached to the profile the system can match the sale to the user and original ad clicked.

Step 1 : Setting Up Your Ads

Facebook Ads Set Up Guide

To track your Facebook ads take the parameter below and paste it in the tracking url parameter area of EVERY ad in your Facebook ad accounts and hit publish.

Copy The Following URL Parameter : fbc_id={{adset.id}}

 

NEXT : Create a preview link like in the video above at (1:43). Click the link and ensure that your link has our tracking parameter and the campaign ID in the link. It should appear cleanly in the URL.

The url below is an example of a clean parameter. It should appear exactly like it does below.

NEXT : Integrate with your Facebook account here. This will be able to access all ad accounts you have admin access too.

 

Warning : If your ads have redirects or bitly links tracking parameters will be dropped. To ensure that your tracking works correctly generate an ad preview can click the ad. Then confirm our tracking parameter in the url (3:15 in the video)

Google Ads Sales Call Funnel Video Set Up

To track your Adwords ads take the parameter below and paste it in the tracking template area of EVERY ad in your Google ads account.

 

Copy The Following URL Parameter : {lpurl}?gc_id={campaignId}

NEXT : Create a test link like in the video above at (1:23). Click the link and ensure that your link has our tracking parameter and the campaign ID in the link. The URL parameter should appear cleanly EXACTLY like in the example link below

NEXT : Integrate with the Adwords account you would like to track HERE to complete connecting to Adwords. If you have multiple accounts you will need to connect each of them.

Step 2 : Setting Up The Initial Landing Page Or Opt In

To set up an opt in landing page follow these directions

1- Place the WATCHER script in the header of your opt in page.

2-Place the CATCHER script in the header of your thank you page

To set tracking for a landing page simply copy the script above and place it in the header of your sales page.

This set up is now complete.

Step 3: Tracking Customer Payments

How HYROS Matches Customer Payments To Their Source (IMPORTANT)

This video will explain how we track a customer conversion all the way back to the original ad click.

How Hyros Tracks The Source Of Your Payments

After the initial visit HYROS will watch visitors going to your checkout pages via the WATCHER script in the header of the checkout page. When a visitor lands that has matches from a profile seen before HYROS will recognize the user. If the user then checkouts out HYROS will ad the sale and sale amount to the user profile.

Choose Your Checkout System

If you are using Clickfunnels checkout follow the directions below

Here are the tracking scripts needed to complete this set up

1- Place your WATCHER script in the header of the checkout page you wish to track in Clickfunnels

2- Create a webhook using the CLICKFUNNELS INTEGRATION HERE

3- Once the integration appears, click “configure”. Then click “get webhook”.

4- Copy the webhook and go to the “SETTINGS” area in the Click Funnels funnel that houses the checkout you wish to track

5- Scroll down and click Webhooks

6- Paste the webhook you copied into the webhook URL

7- Under events ONLY AD “purchase created” “purchase updated” “purchase destroyed”

8- Leave all other options alone and complete the webhook set up.

9- You have now completed your Clickfunnels set up.

 

Complete this process on any other checkouts you wish to track and move towards “testing and confirming tracking” at the bottom of this document.

If you are using Thrivecart checkout follow the directions below

1- Create a webhook using the THRIVECART INTEGRATION HERE

3- Once the integration appears, click “configure”. Then click “get webhook”.

4- Copy the webhook and go to the “SETTINGS” area in your ThriveCart dashboard

5- Go to “API and Webhooks”

5- Click “Ad Another Webhook”

6- Paste the webhook you copied into the webhook URL

7- Copy the watcher script below

8- Return to your Thrivecart dashboard and go to products.

9- Click “edit” on the product you wish to track.

10- When in the product screen go to CHECKOUTS

11- After clicking CHECKOUTS go to tracking

12- Activate custom tracking

13- Paste your WATCHER script in the input box and hit save.

This completes your Thrivecart Integration.

 

Complete this process on any other products you wish to track and move towards “testing and confirming tracking” at the bottom of this document.

If you are sending customer to a Kajabi checkout page for purchase

1- Integrate with Kajabi by using our KAJABI INTEGRATION HERE

2- After integrating click “Configure” and then “Get Webhook”. Copy the webhook URL generated.

3- Go to your Kajabi admin dashboard and go to “SETTINGS” at the bottom of the left hand dashboard

4- Go to “checkout settings”

5- Place the webhook you copied in 2 under “Purchase Webhook URL”

6 – Copy the Watcher script below

7- Return to your Kajabi dashboard and make sure you are still under “checkout settings”

9- Scroll down to HEADER TRACKING CODE

10- Paste your WATCHER code in the input under HEADER TRACKING CODE

11- Hit save!

 

This will complete Kajabi checkout tracking

To connect teachable follow the video and written text below


1- Go to https://app.hyros.com/#/mh/external-services/cart-integration/teachable and complete the Teachable integration

2- Once done click configure and copy the webhook that has been created

3- Login into to your teachable account and select the school you wish to track with HYROS

4- Go to SETTINGS –> WEBHOOKS and click NEW WEBHOOK

5- Set the webhook to fire on a NEW TRANSACTION

6- Go to the course you wish to track via COURSE and then go to PAGES and then click EDIT on your thank you page

7- Ad a HTML block and paste this code in the block : <center><p id=”hyros-email”>{{current_user.email}}</p></center>

8- Scroll to the bottom of the thank you page editor and check the box to ad a custom header code. Paste the Watcher Code below into the the code area


This will complete the Teachable checkout integration. Repeat this for all schools and course you want to track.

To connect Kartra checkouts to HYROS follow the video and written text below


1- Go to https://app.hyros.com/#/mh/external-services/cart-integration/kartra , set the name and tag to “Kartra” and follow the prompts to complete the integration.

2- Once down click configure and generate a webhook by clicking the GENERATE WEBHOOK button.

2- Once done login to your KARTRA account and go to INTEGRATIONS –>API–>MY API

3- Go down to outbound API and activate your outbound API function

4- You will see an option to ad an URL. Ad the webhook URL you generated in step 2

5- Set the webhook to fire when the product you want to track is bought at any price point. Ad all the products you want to track.

This will complete the Kartra checkout integration.

To connect Infusionsoft checkouts to HYROS follow the video and written text below


1- Go to https://app.hyros.com/#/mh/external-services/infusionsoft , set the name and tag to “infusionsoft” and follow the prompts to complete the integration.

NOTE: If you are running customer cards manually with sales reps stop here. If you are sending customers to a checkout page where they self checkout continue.

IF YOU ARE USING INFUSIONSOFT ORDER FORMS

2- Once done login to your Infusionsoft account and go to E-COMMERCE–>ORDER FORMS

3- Select the order form you wish to track. Once there go to the HTML AREAS tab

4- Paste the WATCHER CODE below in the custom header area at the TOP of the code.



IF YOU ARE USING A CHECKOUT OR LANDING PAGE SOFTWARE THAT PLUGS INTO INFUSIONSOFT

2- Paste the WATCHER CODE below in the HEADER of your checkout page



This will complete the Infusionsoft checkout integration.

Ask your onboarding rep! We more than likely integrate and have not made the set up documentation for the system yet!

Step 5 : Testing And Confirming Your Tracking

This video will walk you through testing and confirming your tracking set up.

Pre Test Checks

-Ensure you are integrated with the correct Facebook OR Adwords accounts

 

PART 1 : CHECK ADS AND OPT IN

Step 1 : Create a preview link or test link from Facebook or Adwords

Step 2 : Click the link and opt into your funnel

 

PERFORM CHECK : To to REPORTING–>LEADS. Confirm that the email has entered the system and has a @TAG with the name of the adset or campaign.


IF the lead has entered the system with the correct @tag then proceed to PART 2


IF the email does not enter the system at all ensure you completed the landing page set up correctly in STEP 2.

-Check that your landing page/opt in has the WATCHER code in the header

-Make sure that your catcher code is on the thank you page of the opt in

 

 


IF there was no @tag generated and attached to the lead ensure you completed your ad set up correctly in step

-Check that you are integrated

-Then check that your ads have the correct URL parameter.

-Then check that your pages are not redirecting

-Repeat PART 1

-Then contact your onboarding rep for help troubleshooting the issue.


PART 2 : TEST A PAYMENT (Optional But Recommended)

Step 1 : Create a test checkout from the checkout your customers would use using the same email that you used to opt in with.

 

PERFORM CHECK : To to REPORTING–>SALES. Confirm that the sale has been recorded in the system. You should see your booking email with a new $tag and valued added to it.


IF the sale has entered the system and you can see the checkout landing page AND opt in page under “clicks” then testing is complete. You have completed set up. Tag your onboarding manager to start data monitoring.


If no sale has entered the system go back to STEP 3 : TRACKING PAYMENTS and ensure set up has been done correctly.

-Make sure you have set up the correct pages

-Make sure that the checkout has the WATCHER code is in the header of the checkout page. Then make sure the checkout has been integrated with Hyros.

-If an error is found repeat part 3.

-If you cannot find an error consult your onboarding manager.

IF the HYROS parameter is not clear in the final url make sure you have pasted it correctly in the tracking/url tracking areas on Facebook and Adwords.

 

Also make sure that you are not sending your ads through redirect links because redirects will drop URL parameters.

 

Go back to STEP 1 : Setting Up Ads and make sure you have completed this step correctly. If you find an error repeat part 1 above.

 

If you cannot find the error notify your onboarding manager.


PART 2 : TEST A PAYMENT

Step 1 : Create a test checkout from the checkout your customers would use using the same email that you used to opt in with.

 

PERFORM CHECK : Go to REPORTING–>SALES. Confirm that the sale has been recorded in the system. You should see a sale with your checkout email. Click the email.

 

Make sure it has the following

-An @tag indicating the ad that was clicked

-A $tag indicating which product was bought

-A click history that show you landing on our sales/checkout page


IF the the sale has

You have successfully finished set up. Tag your onboarding manager so they can begin optimizing your data.


 

If no sale has entered the system go back to STEP 3 : TRACKING PAYMENTS and ensure set up has been done correctly.

  • Make sure you have set up the correct pages
  • Make sure that the checkout has the WATCHER code is in the header of the checkout page. Then make sure the checkout has been integrated with Hyros.
  • If an error is found repeat part 3.
  • If you cannot find an error consult your onboarding manager.

 


 

IF there was no @tag generated and attached to the lead ensure you completed your ad set up correctly in step

  • Check that you are integrated
  • Then check that your ads have the correct URL parameter.
  • Then check that your pages are not redirecting
  • Ensure your watcher code is correctly installed in the header of the page
  • If you find an error repeat PART 2
  • Then contact your onboarding rep for help troubleshooting the issue.

IF there is no click history

  • Ensure your watcher code is correctly installed in the header of the page
  • If an error is found repeat PART 2
  • Then contact your onboarding rep for help troubleshooting the issue.

  • Ensure your watcher code is correctly installed in the header of the sales page and checkout page. This is covered in STEP 2 : SETTING UP THE INITIAL LANDING PAGE and STEP 3 : TRACKING CUSTOMER PAYMENTS
  • If an error is found repeat PART 2
  • Then contact your onboarding rep for help troubleshooting the issue.
