Broken E-Com Universal Code

If you are getting an embed script failure in the HYROS SET UP EXTENSTION (HSE) then follow these steps to fix the issue.

Please choose your E-Commerce APP below and follow the Universal Code checking steps.

Shopify

If you are receiving a EMBED SCRIPT FAILIURE and are using Shopify follow the steps below.

 

1- Copy the universal script provided:

2- Go into your shopify account and place it on your shopify pages by going to online store -> themes -> edit code -> theme.liquid

 

Ensure that you have added the Universal Code above between the “<head></head>” tags as shown in the screenshots:.

If it is not present insert the code between the “<head></head>” tags as shown in the screenshots:

Then repeat the test with HSE.

 

If the test STILL fails

-Make sure your ads links you are testing is linking to the SAME page you placed the Universal Code in the header of.

-ENSURE that the code is not broken or messed up. Make sure it displays exactly as it is pasted or shown above.

-Make sure the pasted code is as high up in the header load order as possible. Sometimes scripts/codes above it can mess it up.

-DOUBLE check you are logged into the right account and not pasting ANOTHER accounts Universal Code in the header.

If you spotted one of the above errors or messing code, restart the test.

 

If HSE STILL reports a EMBED SCRIPT failure, contact support and we will fix the issue for you!

WooCommerce

If you are receiving a EMBED SCRIPT FAILIURE and are using WooCommerce follow the steps below.

 

1- Copy the universal script provided:

2- Then make sure that

-You have installed the UNIVERSAL script (above) is pasted on EVERY page of the site including checkout pages.

You can usually accomplish this by pasting the code at the TOP of the sites header.

Then repeat the test with HSE.

If the test STILL fails

-Make sure your ads links you are testing is linking to the SAME page you placed the Universal Code in the header of.

-ENSURE that the code is not broken or messed up. Make sure it displays exactly as it is pasted or shown above.

-Make sure the pasted code is as high up in the header load order as possible. Sometimes scripts/codes above it can mess it up.
