How To Create A Facebook Test Link

WRITTEN GUIDE

To create a test link in Facebook to use for your HYROS SETUP EXTENSION tests follow these steps.

1- Go to your Facebook ad level in ad manager, check the ad you are trying to track and click preview.

 

2- Click the box with an arrow and then click SHARE LINK

 

3- Copy the link and place it in your browser URL OR visit it.

 

4- When shown the ad preview click “SHOW AD” to a live ad with active ad links

 

5- You will be taken to your Facebook newsfeed. Scroll down till you see your ad. If you have ad blockers or feed blockers on your browser turn these off

 

6- Once you clicked your ad take the final url in your browser and paste it into your HYROS SET UP EXTENSION to begin your tracking test

How To Create A Google Ads Test Link

Written Guide

Follow these steps to create a Google Ads test link.

 

1- Go to your ad dashboard and go to the ad group level of the campaign you wish to track

 

2- Ensure the track template column is showing. Click on the pencil in the column next to the tracking template.

 

3- Once you have click the pencil click TEST

 

4- Click the test link that is generated under “CLICK URLS”.

 

5- AFTER click the link copy the final URL it takes you to into the HYROS SET UP EXTENSION to begin test.

 

This is all there is to generating a Google Ad test link.

To preview a Tik-Tok ad follow these guidelines:

1. ​Go to the Campaign page.

2. Go to your Ad list.

3.Find your ad, and click the 3-dot icon to open a drop-down menu.

4.Click Preview.

5.Select TikTok as the placement where you want to create a preview.

6.Select QR Code as the preview method.

7.Once you generate a QR Code, you will need to scan it using the TikTok app.

  1. Log into your Pinterest business account
  2. Click Ads at the top of the screen
  3. Click Ads in the left-side navigation
  4. Select the Pin you want to preview as an ad
  5. Under your selected Pins, click Review selected Pins
  6. Click Preview Pin to send a preview of the ad to your mobile phone
  7. Open the Pinterest app on your mobile device
  8. Tap the bell icon
    at the bottom of your screen to open your notifications
  9. You’ll see a notification that says, “Here’s a preview of your Pinterest ad!”
  10. Open the notification
  11. Scroll up to see how the ad will look in someone’s feed

You can preview what an ad will look like on a Snapchatter’s phone by scanning its Snapcode.

To preview an ad:

1. Log in to Ads Manager.
2. Select an ad account from the dropdown in the top right corner.
3. Click the menu in the top corner and select ‘Creative Library.’
4. Click on the ad you’d like to view.
5. Open Snapchat and point your camera at the Snapcode.
6. Press and hold on the Snapcode on your screen to scan it.
7. Preview your ad.

To preview a Sponsored Contend Ads

  1. Sign in to Campaign Manager 
  2. Click the account, campaign group, and campaign name where the ad is saved.
  3. Click the   More icon to the right of the ad name.
  4. Click the   More icon to the right of the ad and select Preview.
    • You can also select Show in feed to open a new tab in your browser with a preview of the ad displayed on desktop devices.
  5. Select Desktop Feed or Mobile Feed from the dropdown at the top of the preview window to view your ad.

  • If  you have LinkedIn Audience Network placements enabled, you can also select the top placements across the Audience Network to preview your ad.

 

To preview Dynamic and Text Ads

  1. Sign in to Campaign Manager. 
  2. Click the account, campaign group, and campaign name where the ad is saved.
  3. Click the   More icon to the right of the ad name.
  4. Click the   More icon to the right of the ad and select Preview and edit.
