BIG UPDATE: Better Deduplication for Facebook Offline Conversion Events, ATC and Deferred Lead Conversion Rules, Top Product Widgets and More!

CallRail Direct Call Tracking Improvements

We have added a new external-dni class and adjusted the script we use when tracking direct calls using CallRail’s (or any other external software’s) dynamic number insertion. 

We have also added the ability to add list of “no swap” numbers or “business” numbers to be blacklisted from being tracked. 

The goal of the above updates is to allow Hyros to more easily differentiate between tracking numbers and business numbers when users are not using our internal direct call tracking feature. This will minimize any miss-attributon if for some reason your main business number is not swapped.

Improved Tracking Accuracy for Paypal Sales on Shopify Stores

Hyros will now recieve paypal’s transaction ID directly from the Shopify integration. This means that providing you have followed the steps to allow Paypal to pass on the order ID to a thank you page which we can track, we will be able to track Paypal sales much more accurately for Shopify stores in cases where the Paypal email does not match with a previously tracked email. 

This is because we will be using the transaction ID to match any new emails from Paypal with previous emails and clicks.

Improved Deduplication for Facebook Events

We will now be tracking the Facebook “fbp” cookie value and sending it with events, just like with the event ID, to allow for easier deduplication. 

Although you can still edit the pixel code to add the event ID just like before this update, the fbp cookie will be tracked by our universal script from the Facebook pixel automatically, which makes the ability to deduplicate events in Facebook much easier for users moving forward.

New Deferred Conversion Rules for Lead events

Previously, lead events were always sent to your ad manager immediately when we track the email. At the time the email is tracked, we normally do not have any extra tags attached to the lead, which ment conversion rules were often not applicable.

This update intends to resolve this by allowing new clead rules to delay lead events being sent until a specific tag is applied to a lead. 

You may want to use this if you want to optimize around a specific group of leads only, such as leads who go through a specific opt in or leads who you consider “qualified”.

Add to Cart Conversion Rules 

We have added a new conversion rule section for Add to Cart events, which will allow you to add customizations for where you send ATC events should you wish:


As a reminder, add to cart events are currently only available for Shopify Stores. More information on these conversion rules will be added to the same guide as mentioned above shortly. 

Top Products Widget for Quick Reports

We have added new widgets to enable you to easily view your best performing products and metrics associated with those products inside your Dashboard.

WooCommerce Recurring Sales Improvements

Hyros will now be able to pull recurring sales when woocommerce using are tracking them using the YITH subscription plug-in.

As we can only track recurring sales directly f1om the add-on in woocomerce, if you are using any different plug-ins please let the support team know so we can add this to our feature list for woocommerce. 

Hyros Setup-Extension Improvements

The Hyros testing app has been updated to allow you to test ads from TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Twitter, on top of Facebook and Google.

New Quick Report Dashboard UI

Improvements have been made to the user interface on the Dashboard. 

New Net Profit Metric

This metric has now been added to all reports, and will represent the revenue minus hard costs.
